Iceland Beauty Launch

Beauty Lands in Iceland

Launching Boozt’s beauty category in Iceland called for more than simply introducing a new product category. We wanted to create a visual story that made the launch feel distinctly Icelandic while communicating the arrival of something new. The concept was simple: the world of beauty had landed in Iceland.

As part of the design team at Boozt, I developed a series of campaign visuals featuring well-known fragrance bottles placed into Icelandic landscapes. By combining recognizable beauty products with dramatic natural environments, the imagery created a visual connection between the products and their new market — making the fragrances feel as though they had literally arrived on Icelandic soil.

Bringing Beauty Into the Landscape

The core of the project was creating believable product compositions from scratch. Using Photoshop, I integrated the fragrance bottles into Icelandic environments, carefully working with perspective, lighting, shadows, reflections, textures, and atmospheric details to make each product feel naturally embedded within its surroundings.

Rather than simply placing a product on top of a landscape, every composition was built to make the interaction between the bottle and the environment feel intentional. Water, rocks, grass, volcanic terrain and natural lighting became part of the visual language, giving each fragrance its own setting while keeping the campaign cohesive as a series.

This approach allowed us to turn standard product imagery into distinctive campaign assets while creating a strong visual identity for the launch.

From Concept to Campaign

Once the hero imagery was established, I translated the concept across the full digital ecosystem. The visuals were adapted into multiple formats while maintaining the same premium, editorial feel across every touchpoint.

The campaign was used across Boozt onsite, META advertising, display banners and Digital Out of Home (DOOH), requiring each composition to work across everything from social media placements to large-format screens.

  • Concept-driven art direction – Created a visual concept that connected the arrival of Boozt Beauty with Iceland's distinctive natural landscape.

  • Advanced Photoshop compositing – Built realistic product compositions with detailed attention to lighting, perspective, shadows, reflections and environmental interaction.

  • Multi-channel execution – Adapted the campaign across onsite banners, META Ads, display advertising and DOOH.

  • Cohesive visual identity – Created a series of individual landscapes and product compositions that worked together as one recognizable campaign.

The project was an opportunity to combine art direction, image manipulation and digital campaign design to give the launch a visual identity of its own. Instead of simply announcing that beauty had arrived in Iceland, the campaign turned that idea into something people could immediately see.
